Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapy aims to gently and rhythmically move the lymph through the body, especially swollen areas of the body, relieving pressure and enhancing the functioning of the immune system. As both a preventative and remedial technique, MLD can be used for a wide range of purposes including faster recovery from injury, reduction of swelling and discomfort from pregnancy, and strengthened resistance to illness.
The facial massage uses Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapy to gently and rhythmically drain lymphatic fluid from the face and into the cervical and axillary lymph nodes. The massage starts in the upper chest and moves up the neck and into the face using downward strokes. All movements on the face are outward and down to move lymphatic fluid into those main nodes. This massage is relaxing and helps reduce inflammation and decrease sinus congestion. You have the option of a gua sha facial massage or a facial cupping massage. A little fractionated coconut oil is applied to prevent friction.
Chair massage is a popular way of relieving stress and releasing tension right in your home or workplace. You receive your massage in a specialized ergonomic chair which I bring to your location. In addition to the usual health benefits of massage, another benefit of chair massage is that it is done over the clothing. With seated massage, you can avoid the discomfort and awkwardness that you may feel in disrobing for a traditional massage. Also, chair massage sessions are usually shorter than traditional massage, making it convenient enough to fit into your busy schedule.
Prices are per individual. Group rates can be negotiated. Travel and set up fees may apply.
Hot Stone Therapy is a style of massage where heated stones are placed at specific sites on your body to deepen relaxation and promote circulation in your muscles. Muscles that are heated with these stones release tension and stress much more deeply and quickly than with a traditional massage. The overall experience is very relaxing, nurturing, and rejuvenating.

Cupping is an alternative therapy that involves suctioning the skin with glass, plastic, or silicone cups. The cups create a negative pressure by lifting the skin and muscles instead of putting pressure on the muscles like in massage. It helps improve blood flow, remove toxins, and reduce pain. This technique mostly likely will leave marks, especially in the areas that contain more tension.
Facial cupping uses a different technique to still create that lifting effect without causing marks.
With the Graston Technique, a stainless steel gua sha tool is used to scrape across the skin and into the muscles. This method causes a healthy inflammatory response, bringing blood to the area to promote healing. It also breaks up knots and scar tissue so the muscle fibers can realign properly. It can be painful at times, but when done right, it does not leave any lasting marks or redness. This technique is especially good for people with plant fasciitis and tennis/golfer's elbow.

Ice Therapy is basically the same thing you do at home when you have an acute injury- you put ice on it. Ice rolling is an excellent way to reduce inflammation and promote lymphatic movement, plus it just feels good! Whether on your face or another part of your body, ice rolling can be beneficial for pain reduction and healing. Just keep in mind the acronym CBAN, which is the process of sensations as you ice a body part. The first stage is obviously your body sensing the COLD. As you continue to treat the area, it may start feeling like more of BURNING sensation, then ACHY, then finally NUMB. Be very careful as you go through these stages- once you hit NUMB, stop! If you continue, you could end up harming the tissues and nerves.

Aromatherapy is the practice of using essential oils for therapeutic benefit. The inhalation of certain oils can promote relaxation, mental stimulation, focus, or sleep-- it all depends on what you use. When you add essentials directly into the massage oil or lotion, it has the chance to be absorbed into your body to create the same affects. Some essential oils are also natural analgesics or have an anti-inflammatory effect.
